Purpose: This scholarship is designed to honor and provide financial aid to students who exhibit exceptional personal and academic attributes.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be immediate family members of NAFA members in good standing, or family members of employees of NAFA member firms. Grandchildren of NAFA members are also eligible. Incoming freshmen must have a minimum ACT score of 22 or SAT score of 900 and rank in the top 35% of their graduating class. Transfer students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Selection Criteria: Applicants are selected based on the NAFA Past Presidents' review of the application materials.

Award Amount: $1,000

Frequency: The scholarship is awarded annually.

Number of Awards: Three scholarships are awarded each year.

How to Apply: Applicants must submit a recent photo for press release purposes, a written essay of 1-2 typewritten pages that provides a brief biographical sketch of the individual along with reasons why they feel they should receive the scholarship, and two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a recent teacher. Neither recommendation should be from a family member. A recent photo must also be attached to the application for press release purposes.

Deadline: The application deadline is August 1.
