Applicants must be nominated with an official nomination form submitted with their completed application; all nominated students will become potential applicants who need to send the following specific materials required for the application: name; Social Security Number (if US applicant); address; school and school year; research interests; geographical area of interest; transcripts of universities attended (unofficial copies are acceptable); one to three page essay explaining significance of anthropology; where the applicants see the direction of the field and how the applicants feel qualified for the award; curriculum vitae for graduate students.
