Purpose
To provide financial assistance to deserving students who will carry on the tradition of excellence in Georgia's broadcasting industry.
Focus -
Broadcasting.
Qualifications -
Applicant must be registered as a full-time student at a fully accredited college or university; a rising junior or senior studying for a degree in some aspect of the broadcasting industry and a bona fide resident of the state of Georgia.
Criteria
Selection participating member stations will select the winning candidates; no one field within the broadcasting industry will receive preferential consideration; allowances will be made for varying levels of experience; judges will consider scholastic records, extracurricular activities, community involvement and leadership potential; there will be no discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex or age.
