• Check with your College or University for available scholarships for a student in the military or is a dependent of a parent in the military.

Non-profit Foundations

• The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance for higher education to deserving sons and daughters of Marines and children of former Marines. Children of all American servicemen and women killed in combat may also qualify.

• The Post-9/11 GI Bill provides education benefits to individuals who have served in the military after September 11, 2001.
• The Montgomery GI Bill provides education benefits to individuals who have served in the military.
• The Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship provides education benefits to the surviving spouses and children of service members who died in the line of duty after September 10, 2001.
• The Patriot's Scholarship, offered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), provides scholarships to children and spouses of active-duty military personnel or veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart.
• The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) offers scholarships to active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their dependents.
