Purpose
To support documentary scholarship in Ireland in the period between the Treaty of Limerick (1691) and the Act of Union (1800) to enable North American-based scholars to travel in Ireland and Irish-based scholars to travel in North America for furthering their research.

Qualifications -
Applicants must be ASECS members who are residents of North America, or members of ASEC's Irish sister organization, Eighteenth-Century Ireland Society who are residents of the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.

Selection will be selected based on submitted materials.
