Purpose
To help scholars devote to full-time research and writing.
Focus -
Humanities; Social sciences.
Qualifications -
Applicants must: be U.S. citizens or permanent residents as of the application due date; have PhD degrees conferred at least two years before the application due date; and, have a lapse of at least two years since the last supported research leave.

Recipients will be selected based on the following

Annual; from 6 to 12 consecutive months.

To Apply
Applications must be submitted online and must include: completed application form; proposal (no more than five pages, double spaced, in Times New Roman 11-point font); up to two additional pages of images, musical scores, or other similar supporting non-text materials (optional); bibliography (no more than two pages); publications list (no more than two pages); and, two reference letters.; Notifications will be sent via email.
