Purpose
To support projects pertaining to the archaeology of Portugal.
Focus -
Archeology.
Qualifications -
Applicants from Portugal who already hold Ph.D.’s must have been AIA members in good standing for at least one year; Portuguese graduate students must become AIA student members in order to apply for the fellowship; Portuguese graduate students wishing to study in the United States must be enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited US university or college, and must provide evidence that they have been authorized to travel to and study in the US. Portuguese nationals seeking funds for research or study in the US must provide a detailed plan of their project that includes the institutions and organizations with which they will be affiliated while in the US' Portuguese applicants must provide proof of Portuguese citizenship.
