Purpose
To support students pursuing an accounting degree.

Qualifications -
Applicants must be accounting major; be legal U.S. and Arizona residents; be full-time students (12 or more credits per semester or 24 credits per year); have earned at least 12 college/university credits at the time of application; have completed at least one accounting course at a college/university; and have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Criteria
Selection is based on academic achievement (as documented through GPA and success in accounting or accounting-related courses), likelihood of becoming a CPA and remaining in Arizona, and community involvement and leadership potential (as demonstrated by the student's personal statement and letter of recommendation).

Applicants must submit a completed application form along with the college/university transcripts for all schools attended; resume (includes work experience and information such as extra-curricular activities, public service activities, awards and honors); a one-page essay on future career interests and professional goals (include 2-year and 5-year goals); letter of recommendation from an instructor or employer.
