This scholarship is open to students in 4th-11th grade who have at least a 3.75 GPA and participate in community service. In order to compete, students must be nominated by a teacher at their school. In addition to receiving a $1,000 college scholarship, students are named "Carson Scholars" and receive a medal and a trophy for their school.
