Purpose
To support a research that will help prepare for a career of independent basic or clinical investigation in the area of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Focus -
Medicine.
Qualifications -
Applicants must be employed in an institution; engaged in health care or health related research within the United States; have MD, PhD or equivalent. Applicants with MD degrees must have at least two years of post doctoral experience. Candidates with PhD degrees must have at least one year of post-doctoral research experience related to IBD; proposals must be relevant to inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's Disease or ulcerative colitis); already well established in individuals the field of IBD research are not considered eligible.

$45,000
Award Duration -
Annual; one to three years.
To Apply
Each applicant must submit a letter of intent (LOI) prior to submitting a full proposal for consideration. The LOI is reviewed seriously by the review committee who determines whether or not the applicant is invited to submit a full proposal. Each section of the LOI should be completed fully to be eligible for funding consideration.
