Purpose
To provide financial assistance to first-time attendees at an NCTM annual meeting and exposition.
Focus -
Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Teaching.
Qualifications -
Applicant must be full-time classroom teacher; secondary school teachers must be teaching mathematics for at least 50 percent of their schedule; earned at least a bachelor’s degree; teaching at the time of the application and anticipate teaching during the following school year; has never attended an NCTM annual meeting.
Criteria
Selection will be special consideration will be given to teachers of underserved and rural students.

Applicants must submit a proposal cover form; a proposal describing plan and lesson plan (two pages maximum); budget (No direct cost); letter of support from principal.
