Purpose
To support early-career oncologists in developing countries and facilitates the sharing of knowledge between these oncologists and ASCO members.
Focus -
Oncology.
Qualifications -
Applicants must have a current passport; must be current residents of a country classified by the World Bank as low-income, lower-middle-income or upper-middle-income and have limited resources to attend the ASCO annual meeting; not have completed more than one year of "formal training"; must be member of ASCO (full, member-in-training, or international corresponding); must be less than ten years past their oncology program; must be fluent in English (writing and speaking); must have demonstrated interest in integrating palliative and supportive care into his/her institution.
