ITE Diversity Scholars Program
The ITE Diversity Scholars Program awards one US high school senior or community college student with a scholarship of up to $20,000 ($4,000 annually). Interested students must be African-American, Native American, Alaskan, Hawaiian, or of Hispanic/Latino heritage and planning to major in transportation engineering, planning, or in a related field at a 4-year college or university. Preference is given to low-income and first-generation college students. Applicants will be judged on several criteria, including GPA, extracurricular activities, awards, STEM courses, two letters of recommendation, and a personal statement.
