Purpose
To support the highest ranked minority applicants in their continuing education.
Focus -
Dance; Education, Physical; Health sciences.
Qualifications -
Applicants must be Asian, African American, Latino, or Native American students majoring in Health, Physical Education, Recreation or Dance; have completed (or be enrolled in) a minimum of 60 semester/90 quarter units of college work; be residents of California and attend a two- or four-year college/university within California; have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA; and be CAHPERD members for a minimum of 30 days prior to application.
Criteria
Awarded to the highest ranked minority applicant (Asian, African American, Latino or Native American) from all minority applications submitted for scholarship program.

Applicants must submit a completed application form, three letters of recommendation, and scholastic verification by the university registrar's office or transcripts of all college work.
