Applicants must provide the following materials: evidence of current student status, either copy of admission letter if admitted but not yet enrolled, or current transcript if enrolled; two letters of recommendation describing the personal qualities and activities that exemplify leadership, compassion, and involvement in professional organizations(s), professional activities and community service. At least one letter of recommendation should be from a faculty member and one letter may be from a professional colleague; current resume; personal statement addressing career goals, personal qualities that affect their nursing practice, and how their career goals and personal qualities reflect South Dakota Nurses Foundation purposes of education, research, and service. Please limit personal statement to 500 words or less.
