Purpose
To encourage the investigators with limited experience and demonstrated interest in the field of HIV/AIDS to redirect or to embark on a career in biomedical, social or behavioral HIV/AIDS research.
Focus -
AIDS.
Qualifications -
Applicants must hold a research or clinical doctorate; must be positioned to secure an independent research position; must be mentored by an experienced investigator at the same US or international nonprofit research institution who is qualified to oversee the proposed research, has successfully supervised postdoctoral fellows and is at the associate professor level or higher; be the main author on significant publications in leading international peer-reviewed journals; have made oral and poster presentations at major scientific conferences and meetings.
