Purpose
To grant scholarships to deserving students from Michigan high schools that are members of MCBA.
Focus -
Music.
Qualifications -
Applicants must be high school seniors who are members of an MCBA marching band and plan to enter a college or university with a major in music or related field.
Criteria
Selection criteria include: grade point averages, past honors and awards, previous music training, and participation in solo and ensemble venues.

Annual.

Number of Recipients -
Up to 5.
To Apply
Applicants must be nominated by band director. Along with the completed application, the applicant must submit a paragraph stating why they should be considered for the scholarship award.
