Purpose
To support women pursuing graduate studies in transportation or a related field.
Focus -
Transportation.
Qualifications -
Applicant must be a female student currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in a transportation-related field (such as transportation engineering, planning, finance, logistics) in certain universities in Texas or Oklahoma; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Criteria
Selection is based on applicant's specific transportation goals, academic record, and transportation-related activities or job skills.

Applicant must submit a typed application form completed and signed; official copy of transcripts; two letters of recommendation; personal statement; proof of enrollment; and a personal statement of 500 words or less highlighting candidate’s interest in transportation/related field, relevant experience and interests, and how this award will contribute to the candidate’s ability to make a meaningful contribution in the transportation arena. First semester students must also submit a First Semester Student Form.
