To provide financial assistance for medical students who are residents of Montgomery County.

Qualifications -
Applicant must be a United States citizen; a resident of Montgomery County in the state of Pennsylvania at the time of high school graduation or for at least four years prior to registering as a medical student; enrolled full time in a fully accredited United States medical school.

Must submit a completed application form; two reference letters, from persons other than family members, documenting the integrity, interpersonal skills and potential as physicians; a letter, on school letterhead, verifying full time enrollment as first-year medical student; one-page, typed essay addressing the reasons for pursuing medical career, personal goals and plans for future within the profession.
