To support new and innovative studies that are relevant to the cause, pathogenesis or treatment of the hereditary or sporadic ataxias.

Applicants must for new and innovative studies that are relevant to the cause, pathogenesis or treatment of the hereditary or sporadic ataxias.; must primarily as “seed monies” to assist investigators in the early or pilot phase of their studies and as additional support for ongoing investigations on demonstration of need.
Criteria
Selection of applicants will be evaluated by a Committee appointed by NAF's Research Director. Consideration will be based on the score of applicant's recommendation.

For the pre-submission of application, applicants must always include the last name of the principle investigator as the first word in the subject line of any email. Submit email with applicants' intentions to apply for NAF funding, including a full title and a one-page abstract of a proposal. Complete application must be sent as a single PDF file attachment with the last name of the researcher in the subject line of the email. Electronic signatures will be accepted.
