Applicant must be a military veteran with a financial hardship who is a native of North Carolina, or currently a permanent resident of North Carolina, is associated with a North Carolina Guard or Reservist unit, or is on Active Duty and stationed in North Carolina.

Applicants must provide all requested information with their application, including forms, copies of bills, and photos; Incomplete information may lead to denial of the application. Applicants must also provide email and phone numbers and be available to answer questions.
