Purpose
To support students who are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
Focus -
Aerospace sciences.
Qualifications -
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and full- or part-time students enrolled in a STEM-related discipline at a participating community college (Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Columbus State Community College, Cuyahoga Community College, Lakeland Community College, Lorain County Community College, Sinclair Community College); should be working toward an Associate Degree, or have the intention to continue for a 4-year degree, preferably at one of the OSGC Affiliate institutions, or enter the world of work in a STEM-related position.
Criteria
Selection is competitive and will be based upon the applicants' academic record, written letters of recommendation and the applicants' personal statement and project proposal.

Applicants must submit a completed application package that includes a personal objective statement discussing educational and career goals, and the benefits derived from a Space Grant scholarship; description of proposed research project (must align with one of the 4 NASA Mission Directorates and signature approval by Advisor required); copy of resume and unofficial transcripts; certification (both student signature and campus representative signature required).
