Purpose
To support advanced students who will have completed the bulk of their pre-thesis requirements and are starting their thesis research by the time the award is activated.
Focus -
Pharmacy.
Qualifications -
Applicants must hold a Phar.D. or a B.S. or M.S. from an accredited school in pharmacy or a related area, such as chemistry, biology or engineering; should expect to complete the requirements for the Ph.D. in two years or less from the time the fellowship begins; must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Selection will be based on the committee criteria.

$20,000
Award Duration -
Annual; up 2 years.

Applicants should include general registration information; curriculum vitae or biosketch; extended letter; thesis project description; a titled abstract of approximately 200 words concerning proposed research plan; official transcripts; thesis advisor information and letter of reference; reference letter from an individual other than the thesis advisor, who is knowledgeable about the candidate’s scientific skills, must comment on the candidate’s potential for a career in research.
