Purpose
To enable faculty with active research programs to work outside of their home institutions for periods of 6 months to one year to learn new skills or develop new collaborations that will enhance their research training capabilities in pharmacology/toxicology.
Focus -
Pharmacology; Toxicology.
Qualifications -
Applicants must PhD, Pharm.D, MD or Sc.D. degree in a field of study logically or functionally related to the proposed post doctoral activities;U.S. citizens or permanent residents; faculty appointment that presents eligibility for sabbatical leave from their institution; institutional approval of a sabbatical plan that includes partial salary matching the PhRMA Foundation stipend.

Applicants should include general registration information; curriculum vitae or bio sketch; extended letter; thesis project description; a titled abstract of approximately 200 words concerning proposed research plan; official transcripts; thesis advisor information and letter of reference; reference letter from an individual other than the thesis advisor, who is knowledgeable about the candidate's scientific skills, must comment on the candidate's potential for a career in research.
