Purpose
To assist graduate or postdoctoral students to enable the oral presentation of their dissertation research at the AAS meeting.
Focus -
Astronomy and astronomical sciences.
Qualifications -
Applicants must be graduate students or postdocs; must be planning to present their dissertation research at a meeting of the AAS in the form of an oral dissertation talk; must be attending a North American university or have recently graduated from a North American university; must be members of AAS.
Criteria
Selection will be based on the scientific merit of the dissertation research of the PhD.
Award Duration -
Annual; only every winter meetings.

October 1.
To Apply
Applicants must submit their abstract by the "on-time" abstract submission deadline; advisors of the applicants must submit a letter indicating that the applicants is within one year of receiving or receipt of the PhD.
